What is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)?

An informed approach

  • An evidence-based therapeutic approach designed to help individuals develop skills in four areas; emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness

  • Rooted in cognitive-behavioral techniques, DBT is particularly effective for those facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, codependency, Borderline Personality Disorder, and relationship difficulties

  • DBT stands alone from other therapeutic modalities by incorporating Mindfulness; and tangible skills to bring more awareness to ourselves and the world around us

  • Informed treatment will specialized to your goals by integrating various DBT techniques with interventions from other therapeutic modalities
